In light of the recent tragic events at the LAX Airport, we expect airport security to still be on high alert. We strongly recommend that cosplayers leave their props in their rooms or cars when leaving the Hilton Los Angeles Airport. We also do not recommend driving into the airport with visible props, particularly weapons if at all possible. Thank you for your understanding. |

Manga Artist Guest of Honor: Izumi Matsumoto |
Kimagure Orange Road Creator and Artist
Izumi Matsumoto is the creator and artist of the popular manga series Kimagure Orange Road, which was originally published in Weekly Shonen Jump and later adapted into an anime. He is also known for authoring the manga Sesame Street and the anthology Graffitti, which contains many short works created prior to Kimagure Orange Road.

For the fifth straight year Pacific Media Expo (PMX) will once again be hosting Way of the Stick and Blade: Tournament of Filipino Martial Arts. This premiere Filipino Martial Arts event will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton as part of PMX 2013. This is the only tournament where you can witness the Filipino Martial Arts of Eskrima, Kali, and Arnis in a fast-paced and highly competitive sport format. |
